The country’s bar examinees are expected to receive from the Office of the Bar Confidant of the Supreme Court (SC-OBC) until Jan. 27 the “Notice of Admission” that would be sent to their Bar PLUS-registered e-mail addresses for the 2020-2021 online bar examinations set Feb. 4 and 6.
Once the electronic mail is received, the SC-OBC said bar examinees should download the “Undertaking” which has to be signed and submitted to the head proctor on the first day of the exams.
It said: “Do not panic if you do not receive the e-mail immediately. Kindly note that examinees will not receive their Notices of Admission all at once.”
It told the bar examinees: “If you do not receive the e-mail by January 27 (Thursday), you may download both documents, i.e., (1) Notice of Admission and (2) Undertaking] using your Bar PLUS account. You may check the User Guide on how obtain these documents at https://sc.judiciary.gov.ph/23984/.”
It also suggested that “so as not to overwhelm the system,” bar examinees should access BarPLUS on Jan. 27 from 4 a.m to 7 a.m for those in Mindanao testing centers; 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. for those in the Visayas; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for those in Northern Luzon; 1 p.m. to 4 p.m for those in Southern Luzon and Quezon City; 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Manila and Pasay City; and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Makati City and Taguig City.
Finally, SC-OBC suggested: “If you miss the timeframe allotted for you, please access Bar PLUS during off-peak hours.”
