Team Secret bolster its squad ahead of the VCT Stage 1 Challengers PH with the addition of new coach Chong Hoc “Fayde” Wah and young prospect Jeremy “Jremy” Cabrera.

Coach Fayde will take the position left following the departure of Coach Gilbert “Gibo” Sales Jr. early in January. Jremy, meanwhile, adds youth and new dimensions to the squad that is led by No. 1 ranked Asian Valorant player Jayvee “DubsteP” Paguirigan.

“The squad is complete. We're ready for the new season. Please welcome Secret Fayde to our VALORANT roster,” said Team Secret in its announcement.

Fayde last coached Malaysian squad Team SMG and was able to guide the crew to runners-up finish in the Valorant Champions Tour 2021: Southeast Asia Stage 1 Masters. He has huge shoes to fill in though especially after Coach Gibo guided Team Secret to a surprise 5th-8th place finish in the Valorant Champions 2021.

Still in the crew were Jessie “JessieVash” Cristy Cuyco, Riley “witz” Go, Jim “BORKUM” Timbreza and Kevin “Dispenser” Te who just like DubsteP all landed a spot in the Top 20 Asian Valorant players.

Team Secret earlier got the direct invitation to the group stage of the VCT Challengers PH together with Zeal Esports. They will face six other teams in the group stage which will run from Feb. 10-13 for the Phase 1 and February 17-20 for the Phase 2.
