Korean actress Park Shin-hye got married to actor Choi Tae-joon in Seoul on Jan. 22 and for the special occasion and during her pre-wedding pictorial, she chose the bridal dresses of Oscar de la Renta and Filipino-American Monique Lhuillier.
The 31-year-old star of the film “#Alive” and drama “The Heirs” wore a wedding dress from Oscar de la Renta’s 2022 spring collection.
They got married at the Oryun Community Church in Gangdong-gu, Seoul with friends, stars and family members in attendance.
Hours before the wedding took place, Salt Entertainment, Park Shin-hye’s agency, released pre-wedding pictorial photos of the couple on Instagram.
“Today, actress Park Shin-hye is getting married to actor Choi Tae-joon. Please support actress Park Shin-hye. We would like to thank everyone who gave their blessing. In the future, actress Park Shin-hye will do her best to show a good image to everyone. Thank you for your warm support,” according to the agency.
In the photos, Park Shin-hye wore bridal dresses of Oscar de la Renta and Monique Lhuillier while Choi Tae-joon wore a tuxedo.
The Oscar de la Renta Instagram account congratulated the couple and uploaded the photo of Park Shin-hye wearing a ball gown from the 2022 spring collection.
“Just Married. Congratulations Park Shin-hye and Choi Tae-joon, who were married today in an intimate ceremony in Seoul. Park Shin-hye is a vision in the #odlrbridal embroidered bow ball gown,” according to the Oscar de la Renta Instagram account.
The account described Park Shin-hye’s ball gown as “Eternal Romance. Exquisite bow embroidery, crafted from white silk faille, transforms the bridal ball gown with alluring modernity. #odlrbridal.”
For the pictorial, Park Shin-hye also wore two gowns by Monique Lhuillier. One of which came from the designer’s 2022 bridal spring collection.
Stars who attended the couple’s wedding were Lee Min-ho, Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Nam Goong-min, IU, Lee Seo-jin, Yoo Yeon-seok, Ryu Jun-yeol, AOA’s Seolhyun, Lee Sun-bin, Lee Dong-hwi, Bae Jeong-nam, former rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae, Kim Myung-min, Kim Bum, 2PM’s Chansung, Nam Ji-hyun, Seulong, Oh Yeon-seo, Uhm Ji-won, Yoon Kyun-sang and Kim Ye-won.
“Thank you to everyone who sent many blessings and congratulations,” wrote Park Shin-hye on Instagram after the wedding.
Choi Tae-joon also thanked everyone for their support, saying, “Thank you so much for your support and blessings.”
Last Nov. 23, Park Shin-hye announced that she was getting married to Choi Tae-joon and that she was pregnant. They have been together since the end of 2017 and publicly admitted their relationship in March 2018.
