The number of Filipinos not willing to be vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has gone down, according to a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

And while the number of infections in Metro Manila has been observed to be steadily declining, the OCTA Research Group noted that it continues to be under “critical risk”.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III has joined other Cabinet members in asking Public Attorneys Office (PAO) Chief Persida Acosta to have herself vaccinated against COVID-19.

And would the eldery soon become automatic recipients of P1-million cash gifts from the government on the day they turn 100 years old? The House Committee on Senior Citizens thinks so.
