Muntinlupa City’s full vaccination rate exceeds target population


The number of fully vaccinated individuals in Muntinlupa City has exceeded the target population, according to latest data.

According to the Muntinlupa City government, as of Jan. 15, there are 403,902 fully vaccinated individuals, or 105 percent of the target population of 383,021.

Partially vaccinated individuals in Muntinlupa totaled 459,179, or 120 percent of the target population.

By barangay, Buli, the smallest in the city, has the highest full vaccination rate at 155 percent. A total of 10,960 individuals have been fully vaccinated, higher than its target population of 7,055.

Alabang is second with 122 percent of the target population getting fully vaccinated, or 59,040 individuals against the target of 48,431.

Tunasan is third with 120 percent with 48,446 of its residents now fully vaccinated, exceeding the target of 40,297.

Ayala Alabang, the second smallest barangay in Muntinlupa, reached 110 percent of the target population with 17,693 residents getting jabs against the target of 16,268.

Cupang has 45,911 residents who are now fully vaccinated, or 104 percent of the target population of 44,285.

Putatan’s full vaccination rate is now 98 percent with 66,274 individuals against the target of 67,585. Bayanan’s full vaccination rate is 96 percent followed by Sucat with 83 percent and Poblacion with 80 percent.

In addition, the Muntinlupa City government has administered a total of 46,031 booster shots, or 12 percent of the city’s target population.

The city government continues to vaccinate people with their first and second doses, booster, and minors aged 12 to 17.

As of Jan. 19, Muntinlupa has 4,590 active coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases out of 34,255 confirmed cases, 29,077 recoveries, and 588 deaths.
