'It’s his destiny:’ Remulla believes BBM will win in Cavite

CAVITE – Governor Jonvic Remulla believes that Caviteños will support presidential aspirant and former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in the upcoming presidential elections.

"Ayaw ko na sana makihalo ngunit dahil sa isang deleted survey ko sa Twitter na sadyang pinag-iinitan ngayon ng ilang kampo, narito naman ang internal survey na isinagawa sa 1,600 respondents sa buong Cavite nitong December 1-5 (I didn't want to join in the discussion but because of my deleted survey in Twitter that is being criticized by several camps, here is an internal survey with 1,600 respondents held in Cavite from Dec. 1 to Dec. 5)," Remulla wrote on a Facebook post on Thursday (Jan. 13).

The governor previously created a Twitter poll asking followers who their presidential bet will be. The tweet is now deleted.

In the internal survey that Remulla mentioned, Marcos was the top choice, scoring 62 percent.

Caviteño Senator Panfilo Lacson got 16 percent, followed by Vice President Leni Robredo who got nine percent.

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno got six percent and Senator Manny Pacquiao, four percent.

"Surveys are a snapshot in time. If the election was held today? BBM will win in Cavite by a landslide," Remulla said.

"I believe he will win the Presidency in 2022. It’s his time. It’s his destiny."

Cavite is the second most vote-rich province in the country according to 2019 data from the Commission on Elections.
