Dyna Drug Corporation, a producer of over-the-counter pharmaceutical products and consumer and allied products, received recently its ISO 9001:2015 Certification. It was granted by TUV Nord Philippines, Inc., a member of the German TUV Nord Group, one of the world’s largest Inspection, Certification, and Testing organization.

TUV NORD Philippines formally awarded Dyna Drug its ISO 9001:2015 Certification (Certificate Registration No. 44 100 21 93 0031) on Nov. 10, 2021, after the company passed its two audits, first conducted by TUV Nord Philippines on May 25, 2021 and then on Aug. 9–10, 2021. The Certification officially began retroactively on Nov. 3, 2021 and will last until November 2, 2024 — after which, Dyna Drug will be subjected to annual surveillance audits.

This certification underscores Dyna Drug’s unyielding commitment to quality as enshrined in the company’s Quality Policy, which states:

“Dyna Drug Corporation is committed to go beyond distribution in our service to the general public by providing the highest quality of pharmaceutical and consumer products, in accordance with WHO Annex 5 Guide to Good Distribution Practices for Pharmaceutical Products and Annex 9 Guide to Good Storage Practices for Pharmaceuticals, in addition to other existing statutory and regulatory requirements. Our pledge is to fully commit to the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement in our quality management system in accordance to ISO 9001:2015 to the satisfaction of our customers.”

It also recognizes Dyna Drug’s vision of becoming a, “leading entity in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry dedicated to providing our customers at all times with products of the highest quality possible” — all while “constantly seeking new and innovative ways to uphold our integrity, maintain our reliability and improve our core competencies.”

Since its founding as Dyna Drug Corporation over four decades ago, the company has set out to provide for the health needs of Filipinos through quality and affordable health products. This certification is proof that Dyna Drug is taking this challenge very seriously. It is hoping to live up to this recognition and bring quality service and products all the way to the country’s smallest communities, which are most in need of life-saving drug and health products. That means helping make lives easy for countless Filipino families from all social strata by ensuring the availability of quality pharmaceutical products and other consumer items.

The ISO 9001 is the standard for quality management system, sought after by organizations worldwide to demonstrate not only their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements, but also their capacity for continual improvement. The current version of this standard is the ISO 9001:2015—the same one Dyna Drug received from TUV Nord Philippines.

Dyna Drug was originally established in 1915 as a grocery named, Dy An Trading. It transitioned to Dyna Drug Corporation only in 1976, and has since grown into one of the country’s leading wholesalers of over-the-counter pharmaceutical products and consumer and allied products.
