Ruby Rodriguez tells Paulene Luna-Sotto: 'You will always be my BFF!'

Former Dabarkads Ruby Rodriguez who is now based in the US greeted her best friend Paulene Luna-Sotto who earlier wished her on her birthday.

"My Bff @pauleenlunasotto you will always and forever be my BFF! I love you and not a day passes that i do not moss you and our chinnanigans love you, my friend," wrote Ruby on Instagram Jan. 11.

On Jan. 10, Paulene greeted Ruby with a happy birthday on social media.

“I lived my best single years because of YOU! May it be our adventures abroad or just simply lounging in Mapangakit with dusters on. THANK YOU.

“You may be far in distance but will always be in my heart (as in andito ka lang sa Pinas) i love you my bff @rodriguezruby ! Happy happy birthday!!!!” wrote Pauleen on Instagram.

But it was the comment of another “EB” co-host Joey de Leon that caught the attention of some netizens.

“Marunong pa kaya si Ruby magtagalog? Kilala pa kaya nya tayo? Well, Maligayang Kaarawan is Happy Birthday in case you know!” commented Joey on the post of Pauleen.

Ruby did not comment on the post of Joey.

Celebrities Iza Calzado, Allan K and RR Enriquez also greeted Ruby on her birthday.

In May 2021, Ruby Rodriguez confirmed she decided to leave “EB” to stay with her family in the US.

During a Zoom interview, Ruby revealed then that Vic Sotto and Pauleen were the first ones to learn that she’s leaving for the US.
