When asked during an interview on ONE News’ Agenda Wednesday, Jan. 12, if she has selected potential Cabinet members, Robredo did not name names but enumerated the factors she will consider in forming her Cabinet as she stressed that "choosing the head of offices is very important."

She said she will choose those who are experts in their fields, respected in the sector they belong to, good managers, believe in empowerment and inclusivity, and those who agree to work together.

"I will not name names ngayon kung meron nang napupusuan (if I already have prospects) but– but there’s a group of many different– many different teams who have been helping us since 2016," Robredo said.

The aspiring President, however, emphasized that if she becomes the President, she would ensure that her Cabinet will work harmoniously and settle their differences immediately within their level.

Robredo also said that she will be willing to work with people from diverse background and all ages.

"Hindi ako namimili. Even the people we consult, as far as policy briefings are concerned, we make sure that they come from many different backgrounds. Kasi ako parating gusto kong pinapakinggan yung magkakaibang panig (I always like listening to both sides)," she said.

The Vice President further said she will be "very mindful" in creating balance in forming her Cabinet if she wins the presidency.

"The one thing I can commit to is magiging (I will be) very mindful ako sa (on the) balance. Hindi ko sinasabi na mas marami akong babaeng kukunin kasi siyempre ang number one pa din, gaya ng sabi ko kanina, yung experts in their field (I am not saying that I will choose more women because my number one consideration is those who are experts in their field)," Robredo said.

She added that there will be no age limit in choosing her Cabinet members as long as they can still work hard, stressing that the "healthy mix of all ages will be good."
