Comelec Commissioner Rowena Guanzon revealed this on Twitter Tuesday, Jan. 11.

"On or before January 17, the Comelec First Division will promulgate its Resolution on the DQ cases versus Marcos Jr," she said.

Guanzon said they are also looking at the possibility of making public the announcement of the decision virtually.

"If not too risky, we will read it in the Session Hall on livestream," she said.

The preliminary conference on the disqualification cases against Marcos Jr. last Jan. 7 was also livestreamed on the Facebook page of Comelec.

The poll official also revealed that the raffle of two Marcos Jr cases are already done.

"The cases are submitted for Resolution and has been assigned to a ponente," said Guanzon.

The Comelec First Division is handling the three disqualification cases filed by Bonifacio Ilagan, Akbayan party, and Abubakar Mangelen.
