GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite – The local government unit here temporarily suspended the operation of its vaccination sites at Robinsons Place General Trias and at Vista Mall on Monday (Jan. 10).
The halt in vaccination comes after a number of the city government's healthcare personnel tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) or were close contacts of COVID-19 patients.
Only the General Trias Convention Center Vaccination Site will operate on Jan. 10 to accommodate 300 people on the waiting list since Friday.
According to data from the Cavite Provincial Health Office, General Trias has 432 active COVID-19 cases as of Jan. 8, the second-highest in the province after Imus City.
