OWWA programs, services for safety and health of OFWs in 'Oh My Job!'

With the numbers of COVID cases rising due to the highly transmissible Omicron variant, the workforce is expected to be affected. 

This will be one of the main topics in this week’s episode of “Oh My Job” hosted by Arnell Ignacio, Tuesday Niu, and Bea Binene. 

Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac will discuss the government’s programs and services aimed at ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our kababayans in “Oh Isyu” segment.

In its “Oh May Good News” segment, Bea Binene will report on the high demand of OFWs amid the Omicron variant. In its latest count, the Philippines Overseas Employment Agency has deployed 625,000 OFWs from January to November in 2021.

 
Labor Secretary Silvestre ‘Bebot’ Bello III will also tackle the condition of displaced workers under Alert Level 3.
