Also, at the President’s Talk to the People late Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, Duterte called out to doctors and nurses waiting for the results of their respective board exams to volunteer in the government’s coronavirus disease (COVID-19) response efforts, and even approved an increase in the allowances that would be allotted to them.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) also announced on the program that it was already accepting applications for special certification for COVID-19 tests that could be administered at home.
