Caloocan LGU apologizes for long queues in COVID-19 testing, vaccination sites

The Caloocan City government on Thursday, Jan. 6, apologized and asked for its residents' understanding over long queues at vaccination, antigen and swab testing sites.

The city conducted a mass vaccination for senior citizens as well as for other age groups and non-residents in all of its sites on Thursday.

Its free mobile antigen testing was also held in Barangays 28 and 173 which started at around 8:30 a.m.

The local government asked for the residents’ cooperation as there are staff, particularly medical frontliners, who got sick and under quarantine.

Meanwhile, individuals who are experiencing mild COVID-19 symptoms and under isolation can call the Caloocan City North Medical Center for teleconsultation.

They can contact the numbers posted on the city's Facebook page from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.: https://www.facebook.com/100068947548347/posts/236240062017577/

The city encouraged its residents to observe precautions against COVID-19 by getting vaccinated and observing minimum health protocols.
