NAIA busts smuggling attempt of 22 bearded dragons, 6 lizards from Thailand
Authorities seized 22 bearded dragons and six Argentine black and white lizard following an anti-smuggling operation in Pasay City.

The animals, with a market value of P210,000, came from Thailand and were seized at the Bureau of Customs Central Mail Exchange Center in Pasay City.

They were hidden in two parcels that were declared as children toys and were consigned to a consignee in Parañaque City.
They were seized for violation of Section 1113 of RA 10863 or the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act in relation to Section 117 and RA 9147 or the Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act.
