DLSU postpones face-to-face classes amid rising COVID-19 cases
The De La Salle University (DLSU) has postponed holding limited face-to-face classes amid the rising coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the country.

DLSU President Br. Bernard S. Oca FSC said Type C classes or "predominantly in-person classes" and onsite thesis work scheduled for Term 1 are canceled amid the imposition of heightened Alert Level 3 in Metro Manila.
Under the country's Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Infectious Diseases' guidelines for the implementation of alert level system, the holding of limited face-to-face classes was prohibited in areas under Alert Level 3.
Oca said access in the campus "shall be restricted to the most essential, urgent, and important activities."
"All students and university employees are enjoined to report/update their vaccination status in the Vaccine Record Monitoring Form. The data gathered shall serve as the reference for official purposes," he said.
"As we welcome the new year, let us continue to be vigilant and strictly observe the guidelines on safe distancing, hygiene, and sanitation," Oca added.
Metro Manila is under Alert Level 3 until Jan. 15.
