4 roads in Luzon impassable due to flooding, landslide caused by Typhoon Jolina
Four roads in Central Luzon and Calabarzon were closed Thursday morning, Sept. 9, due to landslide, flooding, and fallen trees caused by the onslaught of Typhoon Jolina.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) monitored the closed roads in Batangas, Cavite, Aurora, and Nueva Ecija.
A section of the Nueva Ecija-Aurora Road in Aurora and Lemery-Taal Diversion Road in Barangay Palanas, Lemery, Batangas were closed due to flooding.
A section of the Indang-Alfonso Via Luksuhin Road section became impassable due to fallen trees while the Tagaytay-Taal Lake Road in Barangay San Jose, Tagaytay City, Cavite was closed due to landslides.
According to the DPWH Bureau of Maintenance, quick response teams have been dispatched to install warning signs and conduct clearing operations along affected road sections.
Meanwhile, some sections of the Nueva Ecija- Aurora Road in Barangay Labi, Nueva Ecija were only passable to heavy vehicles due to strong water current.
Some sections of the Calamba-Sta Cruz-Famy Jct. Road and Manila South Road in Laguna, and Tayabas-Mainit-Mauban Road in Quezon had limited access due to flooding. These roads are currently passable to only heavy vehicles.
In Leyte, the Jaro-Dagami-Burauen-Lapaz Road in Marabong Bridge in Barangay Moging, Burauen, Leyte was only open to light vehicles due to scoured slope protection bridge abutment. Heavy vehicles from Burauen to La Paz may take the Burauen-Julita-Dulag-Mayorga-La Paz Road instead.
