Lily Collins ditches the traditional veil and wore an ethereal hood on her wedding day

She looks straight out of a fairy tale

Hollywood actress Lily Collins tied the knot with writer and director Charlie McDowell in a fantasy wedding last Sept. 4, 2021 in Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado.

"What started as a fairy tale, is now my forever reality," she posted. "I'll never be able to properly describe how otherworldly this past weekend was, but magical is a pretty good place to start."

And it truly was magical. Much like what you read and see on bedtime stories, the "Emily In Paris" star looked every bit of a princess. A vision in white, Lily wore a stunning Ralph Lauren piece, a long-sleeved mermaid dress covered with delicate lace. Adding a touch of elegance is the scalloped high neck detail, her subtle jewelry, and that lovely chignon.

Complete her wedding day look is a non-basic bridal veil. The Cartier ambassador donned a lace hood with a back trail to the floor. Echoing her outdoor-themed wedding, this lace hood perfectly suited the Aspen tees, river forest, and meadows of Colorado.
