Mandaluyong LGU opens VaxCertPh booth for OFWs, international travelers

The Mandaluyong City local government opened on Monday its VaxCertPh booth to assist Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and those who wish to travel abroad in acquiring their COVID-19 vaccination certificates.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some countries are requiring travelers to present their COVID-19 vaccination certificates as proof that they are already vaccinated against the virus. The vaccine certificate also serves as a requirement in other countries before a traveler can be allowed to enter its borders.

"Naglagay ngayong araw ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Mandaluyong ng VaxCertPh booth sa loob ng Executive Building, City Hall, sa pakikipagtulungan sa Department of Health (DOH), Bureau of Quarantine at Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) kung saan pwedeng ng kumuha ng vaccination certificate ang mga OFW at mga magbibiyahe sa ibang bansa (The Mandaluyong city government has opened a VaxCertPh booth inside the Executive Building of the city hall in partnership with the
Department of Health (DOH), Bureau of Quarantine, and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) wherein OFWs and travelers may get their vaccination certificate before they travel abroad)," the LGU said.

The LGU added that the booth is located at the 3rd floor of the ICTD office. Another VaxCertPh booth will open at the SM Cinema inside SM Megamall on Tuesday, September 7.

They LGU reminded those who wish to get their certificates to bring their vaccination card and valid ID.

As of September 6, Mandaluyong has deployed 731,996 vaccines wherein 452,603 residents have been vaccinated with their first dose and 295,492 have been fully vaccinated.
