Cristy Fermin confirms Paolo Contis and Yen Santos in viral photo, video

Actors Paolo Contis and Yen Santos are the personalities in the viral video and photo.

This was confirmed by popular entertainment broadcaster Cristy Fermin who verified the authenticity of the photo and video of Paolo Contis with a mystery girl.

Previously, Fermin doesn't believe that the celebrities in the photo and video were Contis and Santos. But later, she confirmed that it was indeed the "A Faraway Land" stars.

"Kani-kanina lang po ay may isang source na nagsabi sa amin. Ito kasi hindi natin masagot ito. Puro tayo, parang hindi naman sila yun… Kumpirmado po. Yung lumabas na larawan ni Yen at tsaka ni Paolo na nagsimba po sa Manaog. Sila po talaga yun," Fermin said in her show “Cristy Ferminute.”

"Sila po talaga yun. Kahit yung kumakain na magkatabi sa isang restaurant. Sila po talaga yun. Hindi na po kailangan mag-away-away pa ang mga 'Marites,'" she added.

Rumormongers said that the tattoos and footwear of Paolo and Yen matched with those in the video and photo.

"Totoong pong sila yun. Nagkayayaan lang daw si Paolo at si Yen na magsimba sa Manaoag. At siyempre pagkasimba, kakain, Cristy said.

"Pero nung maganap po yan, matagal na pong hiwalay si Paolo at tsaka si LJ. Yun naman ang malinaw dyan."

Following the split of LJ and Paolo, Yen was dragged into the issue as the alleged third party.

"Kumbaga, hindi na po siya (Yen) naging third wheel. Hindi po siya ikatlong bahagi or third party kasi hindi po niya pinasok yung relasyon nila Paolo at LJ. Nasa labas na si Paolo, nang sila ay mag tambal sa 'A Faraway Land.' Nasa labas na rin po ng relasyon si Paolo, ng pumunta sila sa Manaoag, nagdasal at kumain sa labas. At wala ng pwedeng ibato pa laban kay Yen kasi labas na sila dun eh," Cristy said,

"Yung third wheel hindi totoo, pero yung sa nagsimba at kumain, sila talaga yun. Ang gagaling talaga ng mga Marites!"

Note that rumors about LJ and her longtime partner Paolo, not being chummy anymore, started with the comedian-actor supposedly unfollowing her on Instagram.

Paolo has also removed photos of LJ on his personal media accounts. They have a daughter, Summer. LJ has a son named Aki with actor Paulo Avelino.

Later, the actor's manager, veteran showbiz scribe Lolit Solis confirmed the break up of the couple, relating it’s a matter of “outgrowing” relationship.
