Viral handsome priest Fr. Ferdinand Santos cares for fur babies

Beyond a handsome face and a genuine intention to help the poor, viral Filipino priest Fr. Ferdinand Santos has a special affection for furry friends. He treats them like his own children and pamper them with five-star comforts.
His fur babies provide amusement, companionship and unconditional love. More than keeping company, the unconditional love of a loyal companion can help decrease stress, and improve heart health.
Fr. Ferdi is a shining example of a person who treats animals with kindness and respect. As the Bible says, “Whoever is righteous has regard for the life of his beast, but the mercy of the wicked is cruel.”
One of his dogs is named Tommy, his companion in his road trips abroad.
On Instagram, Fr. Ferdi wrote:
"Went one last time on a cross-country road trip with my wingman, Tommy (aka Thomas Aquinas) this past June. Used to do this every summer before the pandemic. We had planned on driving Miami-LA, but only got as far as Nebraska.
"There was some last minute business to attend to, and so we drove back. What an awesome trip, though. Miss my boy every single day. He's been adopted by good friends in Miami and is having a blast with his new family and doggie siblings."
Fr. Ferdi bid goodbye to Tommy in July, when he left for the Philippines to serve the poor parishes.
"Tommy looking all pensive. Miss my gym buddy. Said goodbye to the little monster last July. Miss the goofball everyday," he wrote in the caption.
When Fr. Ferdi was a student at the San Carlos Seminary, he had a dog named Aubrey.
"This was Aubrey, my Golden Retriever when I was at San Carlos Seminary. Smartest, sweetest, and friendliest dog you'll ever meet. She was friends with everybody at the seminary. She had been a birthday gift to me by a priest-friend, Fr. John Barro.
"She would never leave my side, whatever I was doing, and would insert herself under my feet when I was studying.
"Unfortunately, she developed cancer and passed away at the young age of 9 in 2007, never having babies. She was really 'golden' in every way. I don't think I've met a nicer dog. I always think the first ones to greet me when I step into the great beyond would be the pets I've had over the years," he wrote on IG.

Fr. Ferdi loves cats, too!
"She wants to take the selfie. Share to let everyone know," he said in the caption.
