Globe transforms into digital solutions group

Globe Telecom Inc., the country's largest publicly-listed telco, is transforming itself into a digital solutions group.

Globe has a market value of over P363 billion at the Philippine Stock Exchange, as of end-August trade.

Once exclusively a telco business, the Globe Group of Companies has expanded into various digital solutions undertaking.

Globe is now a technology-based solutions provider with a footprint in fintech, healthcare, entertainment, adtech, e-commerce, manpower, IT services, and venture capital.

“Over the years, Globe has shown remarkable growth and earned the trust of stakeholders whose support allows us to continuously expand our businesses,” says Ernest Cu, Globe President and CEO.

Globe continues to look for new ventures that are ready to scale.

Its wholly owned corporate incubator company 917Ventures is currently expanding into new areas to address consumer pain points.

Its GCash e-wallet service is another part of its diversified business.

Beyond serving the communications need of over 85 million mobile and broadband customers, Globe now enables a digital ecosystem for Filipinos.

Affiliates and subsidiaries of Globe include Kickstart Ventures, Asticom Technology, Yondu, and 917Ventures which operates Mynt, KonsultaMD, HealthNow and AdSpark.

Its other brands include Globe Studios, Globe Live, GOMO and TM.
