Puerto Princesa drug den dismantled, 6 arrested

Combined elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested six suspected pushers after they yielded some P68,000 worth of shabu and marijuana valued at P1,000 n a buy-bust operation in Puerto Princesa City on Saturday, Sept. 4.

PDEA MIMAROPA Regional Director Laurefel P Gabales identified the suspects as John Mark Zabanal, Patricia Magnifico, Jona Caspe, Angelica Canja, Elijah Romasanta and Camille Andrade.

They were arrested at 5:45 p.m. in Barangay Sta. Monica where 10 grams of shabu and .5 gram of marijuana were seized from them.

The suspects are now facing charges for violation Sections 5, 6, 7, 11 and 12, Article II of Republic Act (RA) 9165. (Chito A. Chavez)
