NLEX uses balanced attack, nips Phoenix to take solo fourth spot

NLEX got another balanced contribution to defeat Phoenix Super LPG, 94-76, and climb to solo fourth Saturday, Sept. 4 in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Don Honorio Ventura State University in Bacolor, Pampanga.


Jericho Cruz, the returning Raul Soyud, JR Quinahan and Kevin Alas led the way as the Road Warriors improved to 4-2 after their third straight victory which started before the conference came to a halt.


The Road Warriors also handed Matthew Wright another rough outing shooting the ball that contributed to the Fuel Masters dropping to 2-5.
