Arci Muñoz running for councilor in Cainta

Arci Muñoz is among latest in a long line of showbiz personalities trying politics.

She joined the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats’ (Lakas-CMD) on Thursday.

LAkas-CMD said the sexy actress, who is also a Philippine Air Force reservist with a rank of sergeant, is running for councilor in Cainta, Rizal.

It is Arci's firs time to join politics.

Note she is running under former cager Alvin Patrimonio's ticket.

Alvin is gunning for the mayoral seat in the municipality.

Among other shwobiz personalities to join Lakas-CMD is screen veteran Alma Moreno.

She is running as councilor in Parañaque City.

The actress is former president of the Philippine Councilors League.

In the past days, the likes of Claudine Barretto, Nash Aguas, Ejay Falcon, Javi Benitez, Angelu de Leon, and Bobby Andrews, also announced their bid for public office.
