2 hurt in a 3-car collision in EDSA

Two drivers were injured in a three-vehicle smash-up on Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Quezon City on Thursday morning.

According to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) traffic station 6, the incident happened near Brgy. Ramon Magsaysay, at around 5:20 a.m.

The QCPD said the accident involved an Isuzu Elf Dropside truck, a Mitsubishi L300 van, and a Quezon City ambulance which was supposed to pick up a patient.

The ambulance tried to make a right turn towards Corregidor Street but hit the elf truck instead.

An L300 was also involved in the accident.

The drivers of the vehicles sustained injuries and were given immediate medical attention.

The collision caused heavy traffic on the northbound lanes of EDSA. (Aaron Dioquino)
