The San Juan City local government announced on Friday that it will now start vaccinating non-residents via the '"JuanVax" program in its bid to help vaccinate more people against COVID-19, especially from the more contagious Delta variant.

Just scan the QR code to register and follow the indicated guidelines)," San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora said.

Siguraduhing may dala po kayong valid government ID, dapat kayo po ay 18 years old and above at hindi pa nababakunahan sa ibang lungsod o probinsya (Please wait for the confirmatory text before proceeding to the vaccination site at Greenhills Theater Mall. Make sure to bring your valid government ID, you are 18 years old and above, and you have not yet been vaccinated from other cities or provinces)," he added.
Zamora said the vaccination of non-residents is on a first come, first served basis as long as the city has a supply of vaccines from the national government.
The mayor had previously said that the city is ready to vaccinate non-residents once the centralized database from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), which will determine the people who have already been vaccinated in other cities or provinces, becomes ready.
