"Ngayon, nais kong i-share sa inyo, sabi sa inyo hangga't may katas ang bimpo, pipigain ko, mabigyan lang kayo muli ng dignidad sa pamumuhay ( I want to share with all of you that for as long as I can do it, I will provide you dignity in living) ," Domagoso said.

"'Wag kayong mag-alala, may Phase 2 na ang Basecommunity... lahat 'yan hangga't nandito ako, hindi ako titigil maayos ko lang ang buhay ninyo. Sunud-sunod 'yan (Don't worry, there's a Phase 2 of the Basecommunity, all of these will come to fruition while I'm here. I will never stop until I can give you a good life. We will keep on doing these projects one after another)," he added.

The city government is also eyeing to build more housing projects aside from its ongoing housing projects.

Domagoso talked with the barangay officials of Basecommunity on Friday (Sept. 2) and reminded them to take care of their respective communities.

Basecommunity is one of the city government's housing projects composed of 229 two-story units, each with a total of 42 square meters of living space. It forms part of Barangay 649 Zone 68, which is led by barangay chairwoman Diana Espinosa.

The target beneficiaries of the city's housing projects are the informal settler families (ISFs), government employees, and longtime renters in the nation's capital.

Other housing projects of the city government include the Basecommunity, Tondominium 1 & 2, and Binondominium 1.

Domagoso had earlier announced that the city government will build three more residential buildings -- the Pedro Gil, San Lazaro, and San Sebastian Residences.
