Kris Ablan apologizes after mocking Bimby Aquino

Presidential Communications Operations Office Undersecretary Kris Ablan extended his apology for committing gender microaggression against Kris Aquino's youngest son, Bimby.

Ablan wrote: "Hi Twitter. Apologies if anyone got offended by my reaction on the FB post about Kris Aquino’s bags. No intention to offend."

"I was just informed by my officemate that what I did is called gender micro aggression. Okay. I will read up on this and be more careful next time when I comment on showbiz news," he added.

Note that Ablan reacted to a certain article titled: "Kris Aquino on future daughter-in-law: 'She's not getting any of my bags.'"

Ablan commented: "Eh son-in-law?"

He added: "I didn't know she doesn't have a daughter."

Ablan also cleared his previous explanation following the backlash.

"Hi Twitter. I’ve read your posts about my FB comment. My colleagues aren’t here because they say its toxic. But I stay because this is where the critical thinkers are & we need to listen. I acknowledge that I’ve been gender insensitive w/ the post & will be more mindful next time."
