DAZE collaborates with Alliyah and Johnny Alegre for second single, launches TikTok campaign

DAZE is a gift that keeps on giving.

Following the breakout success of his debut single “Diwata” featuring TikTok sensation Zendee, the 21 year old is back to bring the latest bop fit for your next playlist.

Last Tuesday, August 24, the singer-rapper from Pampanga released a snippet of his upcoming second single on TikTok. Titled “Araw Araw, Ikaw”, the track is a brainchild of DAZE that features vocals from rising star Alliyah Cadeliña and guitars by world renowned jazz guitarist Johnny Alegre.

Cadeliña, who rose to fame by winning seven times on the noon time show “Tawag ng Tanghalan” and by making vlogs and other content with his boyfriend Adrian Ferrer known as ADBEAT, teases a snazzy melody that complements DAZE’s upbeat and slow jam leaving its listeners wanting for more. To complete the synergy, award winning musician Johnny Alegre spins the track to a whole new level by picking his spots perfectly while giving enough space for everyone to shine through. Alegre has won various prestigious awards and is a recipient of both Awit and Aliw awards to name a few.

Along with its pre-release, DAZE channels a TikTok campaign #PiniliChallenge, where he encourages users of the platform to introduce their “tanging pinipili” in their everyday lives. Backed by TikTok Philippines, the campaign aims to spread positivity and remind everyone that there is always someone in life who has pure feelings for them.

“Araw-araw, Ikaw” is set to release on September 3 on all streaming platforms.
