Vilma Santos recalls Bobot Mortiz as boyfriend

Did you know that seasoned director Edgar "Bobot" Mortiz was veteran actress Vilma Santos' first-ever boyfriend?

This was revealed by the Star For All Seasons herself via her recent vlog.

According to her, it happened when they were paired as a love team back when they were around 15, 16 years old.Â

Actor Luis Manzano asked his mom: "Anong hindi alam ng mga tao kay Direk Bobot kung paano siya as a partner or co-actor?"

Vilma immediately answered: "Si Bobot napakahigpit!"

Luis interjected: "Seloso?"

She related: "Sobra!"

Vilma went on: "Bot ha, tapos na... Milette (Bobot's wife), hi! I love Milette, Santos din yan... Si Bobot nung boyfriend ko, kasi mga bagets pa kami nun, napakahigpit, hindi ako pwedeng magsuot ng mababa yung blouse. Hindi ako pwedeng magsuot ng miniskirt. Jusko, may panyo na diyan (pointing her knees), may gosh. Dito may panyo (pointing her chest) na para takpan. Things like that."

"Tsaka ayaw na ayaw niya akong nasasaktan. Talagang inaaway niya talaga. Kaya sabi niya: 'Hindi ako sisikat.' Ganu'n ka protective si Bobot nuon. Kaya napaka swerte ni Milette. I love you guys!"
