Sen. Bong Revilla's 'Kap's Amazing Birthday Giveaways' successful

Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. was euphoric over the success of his "Kap’s Amazing Agimat Birthday Giveaways" held during his birthday weekend last Saturday, Sept. 25, and Sunday, Sept. 26.

Fans and online viewers stayed with Bong until the million peso cash prize and other giveaways were won.

On his birthday, Sept. 25, Bong’s sister, former actress Princess Revilla, joined the fun and added 100K to the cash prizes.

On the second night, Sept. 26, former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada took part in the program and gave 100K to the cash prizes.

Bong's wife and Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla added to the event’s glitter, together with their children Bryan, Gianna, Loudette, Ram, and Vice-Governor Jolo and his wife Angelica.

Bong got emotional and even shed tears when some of his followers shared their stories about losing their jobs during the pandemic.

In "Agimat ng Agila Games," winners won as much as P200K.

Winners in the "Amazing Roleta" game won P100K and P200K.

Consolation cash prizes of 1K and 5K were given away randomly.

The Sept. 25 streaming event reached 1.2 million people, had 87K shares, 400K views, and 640K comments.

On Sept. 26, the streaming program reached 1.5 million, 85K shares, 450K views, and 900K comments.

“We don’t want to add burden to the public in these contests…we want them to have a fair chance and be happy. I want everyone to win and be happy…receive financial aid,” Bong said.

Sen. Bong decided to stage a game show for his birthday instead of throwing parties for his family and friends.

He thanked his friends and sponsors who helped him raise P4 million in cash, gadgets, and livelihood packages for the two-day event.

The senator promised to do a similar online show during the holidays.
