The Manila city government is ready to vaccinate minors aged 12 to 17, Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso said on Wednesday, Sept. 29.

"Manila is ready. In real time we can vaccinate our kids, mga bata sa Maynila," Domagoso said during the city council meeting.
The city government stored Pfizer and Moderna vaccines which are the brands approved by experts for the vaccination of 12-to 17-year-old individuals.
"Yung bata kasi prayoridad na natin ngayon 'yung mabakunahan na sila (Our priority now is to vaccinate them)," he said.
Domagoso said they are just now waiting for the "go signal" of the Department of Health and the Inter-agency Task Force (IATF).
A total of 39,000 individuals in the said age bracket have pre-registered for COVID-19 vaccination in the city, according to Domagoso.
Those who wish to list their children for vaccination can register at the www.manilacovid19vaccine.ph
Parents can register their children in two ways -- they can either register their children under their account and add them under “family” or register them separately.
