Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso ordered on Wednesday the temporary closure of public and private memorial parks, cemeteries, and columbaries in the nation's capital from Oct. 29 to Nov. 3.

Domagoso signed Executive Order No. 33 ordering the closure of Manila North Cemetery, Manila South Cemetery, and Manila Muslim Cemetery, among others, in relation to this year's “Undas”.
Under Executive Order No. 33, only the "internment and cremation services for non-COVID-19 cases shall be allowed subject to the strict observance of minimum public health standards and social distancing."
The local chief executive said that failure to comply with his executive order shall lead to revocation of its Mayor and business permits.
