Drive-thru COVID-19 testing center for PUV, tricycle drivers launched in Kawit, Cavite

KAWIT, Cavite - The local government unit (LGU) here launched a drive-thru coronavirus disease (COVID-19) testing center for tricycle and public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers at the municipal hall loop on Tuesday (September 28).

In a Facebook post, Mayor Angelo G. Aguinaldo said that Malasakit COVID-19 Testing Drive-Thru Express aims to monitor drivers' health given that they interact with numerous passengers every day.

The LGU will also set up testing schedules for other frontliners, including healthcare workers, teachers, and market vendors.

Frontliners are encouraged to register online to get a schedule. The testing center can accommodate 500 people per day.
