"Magiging alaala na lang natin yung kalsadang hindi patag dahil isang lane lang ang pinagawa (The road which was previously bumpy because only one lane was made will now be just in our memory)," Sotto said.

He added that Mercedes Avenue is now also newly renovated and improved.

Besides the renovation of Kenneth road and Mercedes avenue, the city government also installed 55 LED streetlights along Imelda avenue, Karikitan Street in Barangay Manggahan, as well as in St. Paul Compound Palatiw.

The mayor explained that OK aims to create a more safe and orderly Pasig for Pasigueños and non-Pasigueños alike such as the installation of new streetlights, the paving of roads, and even the creation of bike lanes around the city for cyclists who have transitioned to biking amid the pandemic.

On Sept. 17, the LGU, in partnership with Ortigas and Co. opened the newly renovated rotonda in Kapitolyo which allows cyclists to safely cross the different intersection in the City.
