Bulacan gov leads celebration of San Lorenzo Ruiz de Manila feast

Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando led on Tuesday, Sept. 28, the celebration of the feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz de Manila at Barangay San Manuel, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacn on Tuesday.

Fernando said the province's tradition of honoring the first saint and protomartyr of the country shows the Bulakenyos' deep faith and veneration of patron saints.

In his message delivered during the feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz, with Bishop Teodoro Bacani and Father Von Tetangco in attendance, Fernando urged San Josenouos to be strong in their faith amid the coronavirus pandemic.

He also encouraged all Bulakenyos to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Fernando also thanked the priests for always reminding their flock to protect themselves by observing all the minimum health protocols and to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

He asked for prayers for COVID-19 patients, especially those suffering severe and moderate symptoms in the hospitals and treatment facilities.
