Baham Mitra, Filbasket grace PSA Forum

The latest endeavor of the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) and the newest basketball league to be launched in the country are up for discussion in the online session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum this Tuesday (Sept. 28).

GAB Chairman Abraham ‘Baham’ Mitra is going to talk about the Professional Sports Summit which the government agency will be hosting for the third straight year. The event set on Wednesday (Sept. 29) via Zoom, is going to give a report on the state of Philippine sports during the pandemic and efforts to safeguard the welfare of Filipino professional athletes.

Joining Mitra in the second part of the session that starts at 10:00 a.m. is former Ateneo standout and head of basketball operations of Nueva Ecija team in the MPBL Jai Reyes, who will discuss the launching of Filbasket, the home of Filipino Basketball.

The weekly public sports program is presented by San Miguel Corporation (SMC), MILO, Amelie Hotel Manila, Braska Restaurant, and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), powered by Smart, and Upstream Media as its official webcast partner.

The session is being livestreamed via the PSA Facebook page fb.com/PhilippineSportswritersAssociation and also officially shared by Radyo Pilipinas 2 Facebook page.
