54 local officials, 17 lawyers join Aksyon Demokratiko

Fifty-four local officials from different provinces and 17 lawyers took their oath as new members of Aksyon Demokratiko party on Monday, Sept. 27.

Aksyon Demokratiko President and Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso led the oath-taking ceremony at the Hidden Garden in Lawton, Manila on Monday.

Present at the ceremony were civic leader Samira Gutoc and radio program host Carl Balita. They are the first two senatorial candidates of the party for the 2022 national elections.

Aside from Gutoc and Balita, the other local officials who took their oath are the following:

A total of 17 lawyers expressed their support to Domagoso by joining the Aksyon Demokratiko.

Domagoso thanked all the new members of the party.

"Maraming salamat sa inyong pagtitiwala sa partnership namin ni Doc Willie Ong (Thank you for your trust in our partnership with Dr. Willie Ong)."

He added, "Get vaccinated as soon as possible. Protect yourselves. Mahaba pa ang laban umpisa pa lang 'to pero damang dama ko na talagang bumubulusok 'yung agos ng suporta (We're just getting started. This would be a long fight but I can feel your overwhelming support)."
