QC teachers start distributing school supplies to indigent students

The Quezon City Public School Teachers Association (QCPSTA) has started distributing school supplies to students in Barangay Roxas, Quezon City on Sunday, Sept. 26.

According to DZBB, the distribution is QCPSTA's advanced way of celebrating World Teacher’s Day on October 5, 2021.

QCPSTA President Kris Navales said that up to 150 students were given school supplies and food through the Teacher’s Community Pantry that was set up.

The distribution was held at the General Roxas Elementary school to help indigent students as they return to school.

The QCPSTA called on the government to provide assistance especially for students who were affected by the pandemic.
