Three million more doses of Sinovac's CoronaVac vaccine that were procured by the government from China were delivered late Sunday afternoon, Sept. 26.

The shipments were transported from Beijing via Philippine Airlines flight PR359 which landed on Terminal 2 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) around 5:55 p.m.

The delivery brought the total supply at 69,699,340 doses broken down as follows: 44.96 million doses procured by the national government, 16.07 million doses that came from COVAX facility, 5.03 million doses purchased by the private sector and local government units (LGUs), and 3.64 million doses that were donated by other countries.

Of the delivered vaccines, a total of 39 million (55.95 percent) were composed of Sinovac.

Others include 10.94 million doses of Pfizer; 9.60 million doses of AstraZeneca; 5.26 million doses of Moderna; 3.24 million doses of Johnson & Joshnson; 1.1 million doses of Sinopharm; and 570,000 doses of Sputnik V.

For the remaining days of September, the NTF is expecting a total of 2,438,500 COVID-19 jabs that will be delivered to the country.

So far, the NTF has deployed 54,328,760 doses to all of the 17 regions nationwide while 25,883,914 doses serve as buffer stock.

There were a total of 43.81 million doses that were administered as ofSaturday: 23.61 million Filipinos received their first dose while 20.20 million doses were fully vaccinated.

The fully vaccinated individuals represent 26.19 percent of the target 77 million Filipinos that the government aims to inoculate by the end of the year to achieve herd immunity.

The average daily administered vaccines slightly rose to 404,365 from around 350,000 the other day.
