PGH calls for blood donations

The Philippine General Hospital (PGH) is in dire need of blood donations as supply is now at a "very critical" level.

The PGH Blood Donor Center is open Monday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m, including holidays.

Walk-ins are also accepted from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"We encourage voluntary, non-remunerated, non-predeposit, non-replacement donors," it said in a Facebook post.

Interested blood donors may fill out this form to know if they are qualified.

Meanwhile, those who are interested to conduct blood donation drives may also coordinate with the UP-PGH Blood Bank.
