Madonna's adopted baby from Malawi is all grown up

Pop superstar Madonna is a proud mom as his adopted baby from Malawi David Banda celebrates his 16th birthday today, Sept. 25.

Madonna, 63, recalled on Instagram that he met David at an orphanage in Malawi drinking Coke out of a bottle and had no diaper.

She said that David has grown up to be artistic, athletic, and charismatic.

"Who knew when I met you at Home of Hope Orphanage in Malawi, drinking coke out of a baby bottle and wearing no diaper that you would become this force of nature?

"Happy Sweet Sixteen! I'm so proud of you!" said Madonna.

David was the first baby of Madonna, adopted from an orphanage in Malawi.

Reports said that David was suffering from pneumonia then, but Madonna was determined to adopt him.
