82.9% of Las Piñas target population fully vaccinated

The Las Piñas City government announced Saturday that a total of 370,835 individuals or 82.9% of its target population were fully vaccinated under the “Ligtas na Las Pinero, Lahat Bakunado” program.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the city has already inoculated a total of 781,690 individuals -- 419,641 of them received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 370,835 were fully vaccinated.

Aguilar said the highest number of the vaccinated persons belongs to the A4 category.

The mayor reiterated her appeal to vaccinated residents to continue practicing the basic health protocols to avoid getting infected with the virus.

She told them to always wash their hands, wear face masks, keep a safe distance, and avoid crowds.
