Rico Blanco describes Maris Racal as his soulmate

It seems like Rico Blanco has fallen head over heels in love with Maris Racal.

In fact, he didn't hesitate to admit in an interview on "Cristy Ferminute" that she's his soulmate.

In there, the host Cristy Fermin asked the 48-year-old musician how does it feel to find someone he really jives with.

"Actually, nagulat po ako," Rico admitted. "Hindi ko na-imagine na merong... tunog cliche, akala ko po talaga... hindi ko ine-expect talaga na mayroong ganung tao na darating sa buhay ko na parehong-pareho kami."

"No offense po sa mga dati kong girlfriend, mga kasundo ko rin po sila lahat, kaya lang po, ibang level po ito (with Maris). Parang sobrang minsan nakikita ko po yung sarili ko sa kanya. Kung ano po yung mga happiness niya or kahit mga pinoprobelma niya, tatawa na lang ako. Ta's sabi niya 'Ba't ka tumatawa, namomroblema na ko?' Sabi ko ganyan na ganyan din ako mamroblema."

Rico agreed that he and the 24-year-old singer-actress share the same wavelength.

The singer-songwriter also reacted to their May-December affair.

According to him, they both don't feel the age gap.

"Hindi siya malaking bagay sa aming relationship."
