Sotto on Isko's presidential bid: 'The more, the merrier'
Senate President Vicente "Tito" Sotto III welcomed Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso joining the 2022 presidential race.

"The more, the merrier. More to choose from," Sotto said in a text message, when asked to comment on Domagoso's announcement of his presidential bid.
Sotto, who will file his candidacy for vice president, will be the running mate of Senator Panfilo "Ping" Lacson.
The two launched their election tandem last September 8.
Domagoso, meanwhile, has partnered with Dr. Willie Ong, who will seek vice presidency.
Ong ran for senator in the 2019 midterm elections and landed at the 18th spot with over 7.4 million votes.
Aside from them, Senator Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao also announced last Saturday his intention to run for the country's highest elective post.
President Duterte, who was nominated by the Pacquiao's rival faction in the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan, also confirmed planning to run for vice president.
