KID NO MORE: Nash Aguas tries politics

Former "Goin' Bulilit" star Nash Aguas is running for a local government position.

This was confirmed on the official Facebook page of Cavite City Vice Mayor Denver Chua.

In there, he uploaded photos of people he described as under his party list.

"Malapit na ang bagong umagang parating! Team #unlaDCavite!," the caption read.

Apparently, the 22-year-old actor is running for councilor.

Actor and Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla commented on the post: "Sama-sama natin Ibangon ang Lungsod ng Kabite!! #TeamPagbabago."

Netizens were quick to share their two cents.

Some believe that it's "too early" for Nash.

"Barangay Kagawad muna sana. Learn na basics muna bago sumalang sa municipal level. Wag magshortcut! Government positions shouldn't be a business, it must be a service. Its about time na mag-establish na ng highly-competitive qualification(s) ng mga kakandidato. WE DESERVE BETTER!," one wrote.

Meanwhile, others warmly welcomed and congratulated Nash.
