Donate children's books and get P100 discount from The SM Store

Help kids learn to love reading with your books

This year has kept us at home, cleaning and purging a lot of things that we might not need anymore. Most of them, if not all, still have life left in them that we couldn't bear to just throw them away.

One of them are books, especially children's books, that can be of use to disadvantaged children who do not have access to educational books. The annual Donate-A-Book drive by The SM Store is ongoing again. And since 2015, they have collected and distributed over 800,000 books to public schools and youth organizations.

Donating books to children from poor communities will help give them access to learning materials that they need, especially at this time. Activity books can help inspire and empower children to be creative.

Aside from helping children learn, every donated book gets you a P100 discount voucher in return. You can also donate activity books from Learning is Fun. The company promises to donate the same number of books sold until September 30. Customers are more than welcomed to donate school supplies and other learning materials from the Stationery Department.
