2 foreigners, Pinay, arrested in Cavite drug bust


Two foreign nationals and a Filipino cohort were collared in a buy-bust operation in General Trias, Cavite, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said Tuesday evening, Sept. 21.

PDEA Director General Wilkins M Villanueva said the operation also resulted in the confiscation of some P3.4 million worth of shabu.

PDEA-3 Regional Director Bryan Babang identified the suspects Ghanian national Stephen Michaels, 36, Nigerian national Agbe Monday Patrick, 27, and Filipino call center agent Roca Kaylene Glynnis Mejia, 30.

Anti-narcotics authorities confiscated a resealable plastic bag containing 500 grams of suspected shabu, one caliber .45 pistol with seven live ammunitions, one cellular phone, one unit Nissan Almera vehicle and marked money from the suspects.

The operation was carried out by the PDEA Pampanga, PDEA Bulacan, PDEA 4-A, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Pampanga and General Trias Police Station.
