Popular American TV host Ellen De Generes and her friend Jennifer Aniston gave some inspiring advice to a young girl who wants to be an actress.

During the Q&A portion for the farewell season of "The Ellen Show" aired on Sept. 21, an audience member identified as Amber said Ellen inspired her to come up with her foundation, and later, she asked for advice on an acting career.

"If I can have one piece of advice, I would say just the most important thing for anybody in any field is just, especially in this business, is being yourself.

"You don't want to try to be like anybody else, and the more unique you are, the more you're going to stand out because, in the beginning, people might say I don't know what to do with her because we don't know what that is.
 
"But that's what sets you apart, you have to be yourself, and more that you can really, really be authentic because people need that and so just be true to yourself and go out there and have confidence in yourself. If you don't have confidence in yourself, nobody's going to give you that...that has to come from within.

 
"So just give yourself that confidence to believe and again, as we're all talking about, you know, put it out in the universe and say, 'this is what I will do, not this is what I want to do and this is what I will," she said.

Aniston, 52, who made another guest appearance on the show, also gave her advice.

"I know that feeling. I felt it, just like what do I do, what do I need to do? And Ellen really said it beautifully. Just manifest.

"Just believe it to be so, and know it, and the confidence within you. So actually, to manifest this, you say universe, 'thank you for this beautiful acting job,' 'thank you for this wonderful opportunity to work with this cast and this crew, so grateful for this opportunity.' So, almost as if it already exists, and it's happening," she said.

The "Friends" star added: "It really does. That is how I have been taught to manifest, and it works out every minute, every single Thanksgiving. Go for it!"
